Hope and Exciting News!
The LRF was founded by Regan and and her husband Todd, after they saw the tremendous success of the Professional-Amateur curling tournament they created, called “Lupus Spiel USA”. It has now become the largest Pro-Am for curling in the world. From its success, the LRF was born. The LRF’s primarily funded researcher, Dr. Timothy Niewold, and his staff in the lab he runs at the Colton Center for Autoimmunity, performed research that was instrumental in the development of a potential new drug by AstraZeneca.
